We're based in Newcastle upon Tyne and we've been making commercial and documentary film for over five years. Here's how we work.

Filmit UK was founded by Cole Robinson and operates out of Newcastle upon Tyne. We work with organisations across the UK — from NHS trusts to global technology companies — on everything from one-day shoots to multi-crew conference productions.

We've built long relationships with our clients because we make working with us simple. Clear briefing process, realistic quotes, regular updates, and delivery that matches what we promised. No surprises.

Our longest-running client relationship is with MRI Software — a global real estate technology company with over 4,200 employees across six continents. We've been their production partner since 2020, covering their flagship ASCEND EMEA conference three years running alongside an ongoing testimonial and social content programme.

Where we're based

We're based in Newcastle upon Tyne and shoot across the UK. We've worked in London, Manchester, Birmingham, and internationally, but the North East is home and we know its creative community well.

What we shoot on

Our main camera is the Sony A7S III — one of the best low-light cameras available, which means we can shoot in challenging environments without compromising image quality. We use DJI drones for aerial work and can scale up to multi-camera configurations for large events.

Our background.

Our director Cole Robinson has a background across commercial production, documentary filmmaking, and branded content. Prior to Filmit UK he held senior editorial roles including at FIFA+, where he worked across international sports content at scale.

That editorial background is what shapes how we approach commercial work. We're not just operators — we think about story, structure, and what makes someone keep watching. That matters whether you're making a two-minute testimonial or a 20-minute documentary.

We've produced content for national institutions including the British Library — a two-film commission for a touring exhibition on fan culture, now permanently archived. We've made documentary films that have reached hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube from standing starts.

Who we work best with
